Yippeeio Pet & Aquarium Centre is over 300 square metres of air conditioned comfort with plenty of parking right outside the door. We are located on Grand Plaza Drive behind Grand Plaza Shopping Centre, in between the library and TAFE.

When you visit us, you will find various companion animals for you to view and choose from and a large range of accessories for all their needs.   You are welcome to browse.   We offer you information sheets on all the animals we have at Yippeeio - some of these are available in the "Care" section of this web site.    We have a huge range of accessories and will endeavour to source any product not on display.

Products are guaranteed and warranty details on motorised products are kept at the store for your peace of mind in case of need.

With over 200 varieties of fish in our aquarium section, there is a good range of cold water, tropical, cichlids and native fish to choose from.   The aquarium system is in colour coded sections to make it easier for you to see which species of fish will generally be compatible together.   Any identification markers and the potential growth size are listed underneath the fish species on the outside of the tanks so you can determine which fish you are looking at in tanks where there are multiple fish species in the tank.   For our customers who may be having problems with their fish, the staff will test their water for free to check the water quality.   One of our staff, for a small fee, will come to your house and set up your aquarium for you and teach you how to maintain it.



You will find our puppies, kittens, birds, rats, mice, guinea pigs, reptiles and hermit crabs all in clean, healthy enclosures as per the Pet Industry Association's National Code of Practice.

With all puppies and kittens purchased from us, you will receive a 10 day written health guarantee.   Puppies and kittens are all vet checked, vaccinated, microchipped and had worming and flea prevention treatments and the puppies get heartworm treatment also before becoming available for sale.    Hanging on the outside of the enclosure, you will find information on the breed of dog so you can read the general info about it to determine if it will be a suitable size and temperament to be your ideal companion.

We have a variety of birds including hand-raised or tamed birds.   Ask our staff about bird training tips.   As a free service to our customers, we will clip your bird's wings (please ring first).   We can demonstrate and teach you how to do it yourself in the future and will give you a take home information sheet which shows you the recommended wings to clip so you can refer to it if you decide to clip them yourself at home.
