Yippeeio Pet & Aquarium Centre has been the same family owned business for over eleven years.   After already owning the shop for 2.5 years, Brian and Annette changed the name to Yippeeio Pet & Aquarium Centre as they felt it conjured up an image of fun and happiness (Brian dreamed of the new name in his sleep).   Brian and Annette have owned their shop since late 1999 and won the Quest Logan West Leader, Specialty Retailer Business Acheiver Award 2004 and have been finalists five times.    Two of their staff have won the Quest Employee Excellence Award.

Brian has been in the pet industry for twenty years, eight of them as a pet supply representative in both NSW and Queensland.   Annette was a nurse prior to taking over the running of the office full-time nine years ago.    Brian and Annette currently have two dogs and a cat.   They and all the staff have undergone various training and the staff have lots of pets themselves, so there is a lot of experience for you to draw on when you ask them for advice.

In 2007 Yippeeio Pet and Aquarium Centre was the first pet shop in Australia to be accredited by the Pet Industry Association of Australia under their new stricter criteria.    The Pet Industry Association has set a high standard for pet shops throughout Australia and as an Accredited Member we abide by their National Code of Practice.
